How to delete old screenshots on iPhone

Open Photos, go to Media Types › Screenshots, tap Select and drag across the old ones, then tap Delete. To clear everything older than a set age in one go, PhoneDiet's Old Screenshots list selects screenshots older than 30 days (or 7, 90 or 365) and skips favourites.

Using iOS's built-in tools

  1. Open Photos › Media Types › Screenshots.
  2. Tap Select, then drag your finger across rows to select many at once.
  3. Tap the trash icon and confirm, then empty Recently Deleted.

The faster way with PhoneDiet

  1. Open the Old Screenshots card, or use Smart Review, which includes them.
  2. Favourites are never pre-selected. Tap any screenshot to keep it.
  3. Tap Delete and confirm.

Set the age in PhoneDiet's Settings: older than 1 week, 30 days, 90 days or 1 year.
